After living in Glen Ellyn, graduating from Glenbard West High School and raising her children in the village, Nancy McCaffrey wanted to write a book about the “charming town.” McCaffrey, who’s also a teacher at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, wrote the book with her students in mind, as well as her own interests.
