White Ghost Shivers at the MAC March 5 and 6

Equal parts absurd and sublime, Austin-based White Ghost Shivers descend on the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn. The show, which includes a nostalgic romp through the 1920s and 1930s, is scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6.

The performances are part of the MAC’s Club MAC series, which takes place in the intimate 183-seat Theatre 2.

Discover the Magic of Radio at the MAC March 21

L.A. Theatre Works, the foremost radio theater company in the country, will recreate broadcasts of H.G. Wells’ “War of the Worlds” and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Lost World” to the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn, at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 21.

Directed by actor John de Lancie, who played “Q” on “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” Wells’ “War of the Worlds” and Doyle’s “The Lost World” give audiences not only two masterpieces of science fiction and adventure, but the radio magic behind their original broadcasts.
