This year promises to be a challenging one from a number of perspectives. While many of these challenges are exciting, those posed by H1N1 influenza are producing some anxiety.
As the year unfolds, health officials are learning more about the disease, vaccine is becoming available, and the flu has become widespread in our communities. School districts are working hand-in-hand with the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) to promote prevention, provide accurate information and work together to help safeguard the health of our community.

Grace Lutheran Church, located at 493 Forest and Pennsylvania avenues in downtown Glen Ellyn, has had a busy year. If that wasn’t exciting enough, earlier this year an addition to the building as well as improvements to other areas of the complex were completed after five years of planning and construction.
