Prom is one of the most magical nights of the year for high school students, and it can also be one of the most dangerous. Statistics show that teen arrests spike on prom nights all over the country. According to the MADD organization, in 2004, during weekends around prom, graduation, and homecoming, 47 percent of traffic crash fatalities of 15 to 20 year olds were alcohol-related.

What’s a village to do? Back in 1996, Glenbard West High School launched an event that’s proven to provide fun for teens and peace of mind for parents. That’s the year Post Prom was born.
