While U2 opened its second night of its U.S. tour at Chicago's Soldier Field, U2 music echoed around Lake Ellyn Park thanks to the Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Society Pig Party.

The popular U2 tribute band Elevation, created a sound very much like the original band, less the million dollar sound system and stage production. Elevation performed on the Glen Ellyn Park District mobile "Band Shell".

During the song New Year's Day, bassist Chris Lambrou, a.k.a. Adam Clayton, walked out into the large picnic area and mingled with various couples and children as he played the bass riff.

Several hundred people showed up, many of them families with children. During the song Mysterious Ways, lead singer Daniel Burrow, a.k.a. "Bono" came off the elevated stage to dance with the crowd of children dancing at the foot of the stage. The band shell sat under several huge oak trees which left the grassy area in front of the stage littered with acorns. Burrow led the young fans in the "acorn dance,"
eventually concluding with all the children on stage dancing at the end of the song.

"This song is for all kids," Burrow announced. "This is why we're here tonight!"
